Steve has his Master’s degree in Human Services and a post-graduate certificate in Educational Psychology. He is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Addiction Counselor. Steve has worked in both a private practice and hospital-based setting, as well as in youth services and as an addictions counselor at a women’s shelter. Steve joined the Northeastern Center in 1993 where he has held various roles including: Therapist, Area Director, and Chief Clinical Officer before being named CEO in 2019.

Dorothy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a certification in addictions counseling specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has worked as the Chief Clinical Officer for NEC since 2019 and has held other roles during her time at the Northeastern Center including: Staff Therapist, Intake Therapist, Clinical Supervisor and Area Director. She brings over 25 years of community mental health experience to the NEC Executive Staff team. Dorothy is committed to the mission and vision of NEC and appreciates the team approach within the NEC system.

Liz serves as the Chief of Data Analytics for the Northeastern Center. She began her career at NEC as an intern in our Steuben Outpatient Office; during her career she has provided direct care services and most recently served as Vice President of Operations at Parkview Behavioral Health Institute/Park Center. Liz has over 20 years of experience in the mental healthcare field and loves her work at NEC because of the strong foundation of serving people.

Adam graduated from Trine University with his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management. Prior to coming to Northeastern Center, he spent nine years at Crowe in Indianapolis as an auditor with a focus on not-for-profit healthcare organizations and cost report certifications. He then spent four-and-a-half years at Parkview Health as the finance manager over Emergency Departments, Lab and Imaging, and Inpatient Providers. He joined the NEC Team in 2024 as the new Chief Financial Officer.

Michael graduated from Purdue University with his Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management. Prior to joining the Northeastern Center team, he worked in marketing and advertising with Steigmeyer Advertising, Homier Distributing, and Fort Wayne Newspapers. Michael joined the Northeastern Center in 2002 as the Marketing Director and has served in that role for the last 22 years.

Jill has her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. She has served as the HR Director for the Northeastern Center since 1999. She has Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification and has served on the Northeastern Center team for 30+ years.
