2026 Jane George Scholarship Contest
Each year, the Northeastern Center awards the Jane George Scholarship to an area student seeking a career in a mental health profession. This $750 scholarship is in memory of Jane George, who worked as a nurse case manager at Northeastern Center for more than seven years before passing from cancer in October of 2002.
Who can apply?
Students must be college-bound seniors planning a future career in mental health, which could include counseling, social work or medicine. Entry is limited to students from Noble, DeKalb, Steuben or LaGrange counties in Indiana. Employees of Northeastern Center and their family members cannot apply.
