Transportation
New Clients

Transportation is one of the largest barriers to accessing mental health care in our region. To help address this need, Northeastern Center provides no-cost transportation services for qualifying individuals via the programs below. The transport vehicles are owned and insured by Northeastern Center through the Indiana Department of Transportation 5310 grant program

New Hope Clubhouse

Northeastern Center’s maintenance team provides free transportation Monday through Friday for members to get to and from the Clubhouse in Kendallville. For more information about the program, visit our Clubhouse page.

NEC Connect

NEC Connect is a free transportation service for qualifying individuals with both a substance use disorder and an affiliation with DeKalb County. Rides are available anywhere that supports recovery, such as: therapy, doctor’s office, probation, court, work, grocery store and more. Details of this grant-funded program are available at our NEC Connect page.
