LaGrange, IN – The LaGrange County Mental Health/Substance Use Collaborative will host a Suicide/Overdose Awareness Walk on Saturday, September 30th from 3-6 pm at the Lakeland Jr/Sr High School Track. The event is open to everyone and is free to attend.

The walk will begin with a brief ceremony to remember those who have lost their lives to suicide or overdose.  The goal of the event is to raise awareness of suicide and overdose prevention, and to provide support to those who have been affected by these issues.

Attendees who sign up by the deadline will receive a free event t-shirt and will have the opportunity to decorate a symbol of remembrance in honor of those lost. Community partners of the collaborative will be available to provide helpful and educational information to attendees.
