KENDALLVILLE, Ind. – In order to better meet the needs of clients and the communities it serves, Northeastern Center recently promoted five clinical leaders and added five new members to its outpatient teams.
Two former outpatient office directors were promoted to newly created roles of clinical services director. These leaders will focus on clinical oversight of outpatient services for Northeaster Center.
Jeremy Lewis is now clinical services director for LaGrange and Noble counties. A licensed marriage and family therapist, he has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and more than 20 years of experience working as a therapist, including work in private practice. Most recently, he was director of Northeastern Center’s outpatient office in Kendallville.
Cory Headley is clinical services director for DeKalb and Steuben counties. A licensed clinical social worker, she has a master’s degree in social work and more than 20 years of experience, serving as a case facilitator, child advocate, therapist and school social worker. Most recently, she was director of Northeastern Center’s outpatient office in Auburn.
With Lewis and Headley overseeing clinical services for Northeastern Center’s outpatient offices, the role of operations manager was created to focus on the administrative and business needs of the outpatient locations in each county.
Kim Myers is the operations manager for DeKalb County. She was promoted to the role after she most recently served as team manager for Northeastern Center’s Albion outpatient office. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her OBHP (Other Behavioral Health Professional) certification.
Nicole Cavanaugh is the operations manager for LaGrange County. An experienced healthcare operations professional, she has more than 20 years of industry experience. In addition to having a master’s degree in business administration, she is a certified patient experience professional.
Brent Driver is the operations manager for Steuben County. He has a bachelor’s degree in human services and joined Northeastern Center with more than 13 years of experience in the community mental health field. His prior experience has included operations management for outpatient offices.
Loree Strong is the operations manager for Noble County. Loree started her career in education, but transitioned to healthcare. She became a medical assistant and has since held several roles in management and administration. She also earned her master’s degree in business administration.
With these leadership changes, two other former outpatient office leaders recently took on new roles within Northeastern Center.
Hannah Baughman is now director of the Community Health and Outreach Center in Auburn. She is pursuing her master’s degree in social work, currently completing her internship. She has been with Northeastern Center for more than eight years, most recently leading the outpatient office in LaGrange.
Haley Criswell is now clinical supervisor for Northeastern Center’s residential program, New Hope Clubhouse, and Community Health and Outreach Center, and she is also seeing clients a staff therapist in Albion and Kendallville. A licensed clinical social worker, she has a master’s degree in social work. Most recently, she was associate director of Northeastern Center’s Albion office.
Two other individuals recently joined the Northeastern Center team.
Travis Stebing is manager of Targeted Case Management, a multidisciplinary team that supports clients with a high level of need. He is transitioning into mental health after 13 years in special education, where he worked primarily with students who had emotional and/or behavioral disabilities. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.
Stacy Lepley is returning to Northeastern Center as a staff therapist in Albion. A licensed mental health counselor, she has a master’s degree in counseling and experience in a variety of mental health settings. She is certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy, compassionate bereavement care, expressive arts therapy and somatic therapy.
